What is my media niche? Well, when I am not at University, I am working full-time on my business, as the Managing Director of Beyond Branding. I help brand their own businesses / companies.

To get to know what we do, Beyond Branding is a graphic design and branding business. We help clients with their branding needs, specialising in Logo, Branding & Website Design. Our aim is to create new brand profiles for businesses or a brand refresh for existing businesses. We help our clients to stand out from the crowd. 

Our goal at Beyond Branding is to bring our clients vision to life and to create a brand that truly reflects the nature of the business.

We provide pathways and solutions for our clients to best brand their business to enable them to reach and attract more clients. We work with our clients very closely to develop a personal connection with them to better understand their business and work to create a brand that encompasses what they believe in and what they stand for. We have a business relationship that extends beyond branding and design to obtain the best outcomes for our clientele.

Having a branding niche has been really rewarding, I have been able to take my passion for helping people and graphic design and use it for good.

But what does the term branding mean?

Branding is one of the most fundamental parts of any business.

Branding is more than just the logo design…Yes, your logo is important however it is the foundation for your brand.

What makes a brand, is the website, marketing, packaging, what your business does, how your business does it, the mission and purpose. All of this together creates your brand.

Your brand should reflect your logo design and the colour implemented in it. Without this consistency your brand image will be unidentifiable for customers.

Take a look at these brand logos as an example:

Brands like Netflix, Google, McDonalds, Uber, Instagram and Microsoft all have one thing in common it is their consistent brand approach.

Take red and black as an example, those colours reflect Netflix, Youtube and if we added a yellow it would represent McDonalds. They are iconic brand colours to those big companies.

You may be thinking but why?

The simple answer is consistency, without a consistent colour palette or font your business will not be easily recognisable.

The way a graphic designer thinks about a brand is, take the logo design away, will you be able to still reflect your business? Will your customers know just from your website or packaging who you are and what you do?

If the answer is no, then you should think about your branding again.

Your brand is essentially “a promise to your customer” it is saying here is my business, here is what we have to offer.

As branding & design are fundamental aspects of every business I love being able to assist other businesses, it gives me the opportunity to properly get to know the owners and why they have started their business. This has been my favourite experience so far.
